Avec has supported the growth of over 50 multi-academy trusts, often from a school’s initial conversion to academy status, through to their expansion into a multi-academy trust and accreditation as a sponsor. Our support is bespoke to each organisation and may include elements such as:
`During early 2017, Avec supported us in an application to become a Department for Education approved sponsor and make the transition from single-acadamy trust to multi-academy trust. As a result we became Swift Academies from 1st September 2017. Since then we have been asked by the RSC and the Board of Longfield Academy Trust to re-broker the two schools within Longfield Academy Trust into SWIFT, again supported by Avec.This support has included assistance with the various business cases to the Department for Education for additional funding, support with communications, due diligence, procuring legal support, guidance on consultation with staff, unions and stakeholders, and assistance with governance structures and the scheme of delegation.'
